Kamik boots size 7 toddler run small « Result #1 on Dec 18, 2007, 2:30pm »
I bought these boots (http://www.zappos.com/n/p/p/7256687/c/3.html) for my son but they run small, IMHO. They're in EEEUC as he only wore them twice and didn't wear the liner at all. With the liner I couldn't get them on his feet but without the liner they were too big. Maybe his feet are just too chubby. They're a size 7 but I'd say they're more like a 6 or 6-1/2. They are super nice boots, I'm crushed that he can't wear them! I got a fantastic deal on them. They're temperature rated to -25°F/-32°C and have a removable liner. On Zappos they retail for $44.95. They're the navy color you see below.
I'm asking $12 plus actual shipping. They weigh close to 2 lbs.

Corrie, you do not have to re-register. I disabled your account when it was unclear as to what was happening on SC re. you and Harleysmom. Baygirl has assured me that it's all good, so I'll change the account status right now.
Thanks!! Chantal
ETA: I tried changing the status of your account but things went a lil wonky. Would you mind letting me know if you can post now?

Re: photo suggestions? « Result #11 on Apr 26, 2006, 11:15pm »
I think that it would look best if you could wear it. That way, the potential buyer would be able to see how it fits on a person. It's so hard to tell if you'd like something by seeing it hanging up.
photo suggestions? « Result #12 on Apr 26, 2006, 1:01pm »
I'm new to this board and to selling stuff online in general, and I wanted some suggestions about the best way to photograph clothing. I just took my first pic of a skirt and realized I have no idea what the best way is to make it look good. Do I arrange it on a white sheet? Photograph it from above? Wear it?!? Any suggestions from experienced sellers would be appreciated.

If you cannot use your SC name on here.... « Result #27 on Dec 8, 2005, 10:25am »
Because this board only allows for alphabetic and numeric characters, some of you may not be able to use your SC ID on here. If your user ID contains a character that this board will not let you use, please post here - on this thread. Post your username on SC and what you will be signing up as on this forum (go as close as possible to your username on SC). Once you are registered, you can change your ID to include any characters that your SC ID contains.
PLEASE READ - It is VERY important that you use your EXACT SC username on here. When I verify membership, I copy and paste the name from here onto the SC memberlist to search. If it isn't the exact same and no usernames match, membership will be denied.

Re: Need a PAYPAL Account? « Result #29 on Nov 30, 2005, 4:12pm »
Just wanted to add that there is a bit of a waiting period when transfering funds from your bank account to your paypal account. So if you're a new paypal member and you want to buy something, keep in mind that it could take several days to get funds into your paypal account.
ETA: I just read in another thread that transfers are immediate? There must be a difference for Canadian and American users. So FTR, CANADIAN members have to wait for the transfer.

Need a PAYPAL Account? « Result #31 on Nov 30, 2005, 3:58pm »
I figured I would post this, for those of you who don't have paypal yet. On a buy, sell site it is much easier to have paypal, so we don't have to wait for checks to clear, or go get money orders (especially since we are in Canada and the US)
Go to www.paypal.com Under "Join Paypal Today" click SIGN UP NOW Select "Personal Account" and your country, then click Continue Enter your personal information and click "sign up"
Once your account is established, from the main page, log in
On the top tabs click on "My Account" Then "Profile"
Under financial information you can add credit cards, or checking accounts.
Many people prefer that you use checking accounts, if you use a credit card it charges the seller (the one you send the money to) a fee.
SENDING MONEY
When it is time to send money, click on Send money in the top tab. Fill the information out with the other person's paypal information and voila! They have the money and can send it to their checking account.
If anyone has questions on Paypal, post them here, and there are a lot of us who can help you out! Thanks!

Okay, support said that they don't have a "view new threads" code. The most smiliar function is the "View the xxx most recent posts" link. I've changed it to 100, though.
Avatar size « Result #38 on Nov 29, 2005, 6:21pm »
Just as an FYI, when you post a link to your avatar in your profile it is automatically shown at 65x65 pixels. In order to get it to show at it's max size you need to put "100" into both the avatar width and height lines in your profile. Like this:

Oh, no worries!
About the mod/admin thing... I had to finally set myself as admin with limited capabilities. So I have myself set to be able to change the skins, headers and footers, and images. Basically, if it has anything to do with the graphics I can access it, but I didn't give myself any other capabilities.

No, I'm pretty sure I remember setting the green to the default skin when I was playing around this morning. My bad - consider me slapped lol. I wont touch no more Did you get the mod/admin stuff figured out? What did I do wrong?

Re: Cyster Sales Banners For Your Sig! « Result #45 on Nov 29, 2005, 12:38pm »
Oh, no worries -- I just right-clicked on one of the ones in someone's siggy and saved it that way to put it (and the link) in my SC siggy. Thank you, though!
I still can't see them -- There's nothing at all, not even red boxes Does it maybe have something to do with the web filter we have at work? (Shhh!!! I'm really very busy typing a report -- yeah, that's it, a report!)
Re: someone was busy!! sure looks nice! « Result #46 on Nov 29, 2005, 12:25pm »
No, I'm sure it's not anything you did, Chantal. Maybe I accidentally set it last night when I was working on it. I found a nice silver and teal skin that might look good...
Thanks Steph, I'm really liking the stars smilies myself! lol
